Your MacBook Pro logo, as a status light for Claude Code

With Backglow's Agents mode, the glowing logo on your MacBook Pro shows what Claude Code is doing. Step away from your desk and you'll still see when it needs you.

What the logo does

The logo faces the room, so you can see it from across the room while Claude works.

How to set it up

  1. Download Backglow and get Pro.
  2. Choose Agents and click Connect. Backglow adds a few hooks to Claude Code's settings.
  3. Use Claude Code as usual. The logo follows along.

Your code stays private

Backglow never sees your prompts or code. It only learns when Claude is working, waiting or needs you. Disconnect in Backglow's Settings removes the hooks.

Questions

Does it work with other coding agents?

Not yet. Agents works with Claude Code.

Does it keep working when my display sleeps?

Yes. Backglow pauses when the display sleeps, when your Mac is locked and in Low Power Mode, but Agents keeps working, so it can still tell you when Claude needs you.

How much is Pro?

$9 at launch, later $15. Pay once, one license per Mac. Pro also includes Music, which moves the logo to whatever your Mac plays. There's a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Which Macs does it work on?

Only the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display, the one with the glowing logo.
